The new way to travel

If you read this article it is an interesting insite into the greener side of what it means to "go green". I think that we are still a long way from a paperless society or even just using less paper. For example a company I used to work for implimented the "almighty" Oracle system and they claimed that it would make a "paperless company". But the fact was that it ended up producing more paper documents than anyone would have ever imagined.

I'm just sayin...

New Year New Design

While 2007 was a good design year in the technology industry, what happened to everyone else? Is everyone so facinated with technology that all other design gets pushed to the side? Or are we relying on technology to push design? Certianly everyone was excited about the Wii or the iPhone. But what about simple things that don't get the play like the new secure folder from Globe Weis. A 100 year old product got a simple addition and it's all new.

When iPhones ATK! Birth of the iARMY

This is the first of many illustrations of a concept that I have been messing with. This is not the finalized version of this drawing but I thought it was good enough to put up now. To show my progress. My initial thought a few months after the iPhone came out and the new line of iPods was this iCraze is getting out of control and Apple is just taking over with this new media. I thought it was funny to think that the iPhone was leading the charge of all these devices. My next thought was that there are enough versions and variations of the iPod for a whole army of them. Thus, General iPhone and the iArmy was born. And the iArmy will continue to grow.
I was thinking of creating an entire website or blog to these guys.
Beware the iArmy they are everywhere you know!

SIDENOTE: I know the headphone plugin is not in the bottom of the iPhone but it looked more interesting at the time I drew it.
